About this event

Luncheons 4 Life ("L4L") brings together life-affirming organizations:

  • Pregnancy care centers
  • Crisis maternity homes
  • Abortion pill reversal care
  • Adoption and foster care placement
  • Abstinence ministries
  • Support after abortion counseling
  • Sidewalk advocacy teams
  • Clergy of all faiths

and caring individuals witnessing for pro-life, over a great meal -- 100% free to all attendees -- to end the demand for abortion in the greater Palm Beach County area.

There is no cost for the luncheon, no request for donations, and it is not a platform for political agendas.

The purpose of Luncheons 4 Life is to open communication channels among participants through the grass roots, person-to-person networking process.

Our format is simple: A great meal of selected items from Seasons 52's menu served tableside, followed by a life-affirming guest speaker, and concludes with the part of the program we call "passing the mic" to anyone of the Spirit-inspired audience who wishes to share their pro-life thoughts, comments, and/or life story.

Featured Guest Speaker

Our speaker for this event is Lisa Murphy, Founder and CEO of Open Hearts For Orphans Inc. -- a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Delray Beach, FL serving orphaned and abandoned "special needs" children around the world -- and author of With An Open Heart, Lisa's deeply moving, true story that lovingly chronicles her family's shockingly short, yet powerful experience with her adopted son Daniel and his staggering zest for life.

Founded in 2016, Open Hearts for Orphans -- Lisa's spiritual calling following her profound experience with Daniel -- makes a difference in the lives of orphans in three areas:

  • Medical intervention for orphaned and abandoned children
  • Meeting the basic needs of orphaned and abandoned children, and
  • Providing financial assistance to adoptive families through its "SAY YES" Adoption Grant Program.

Most especially, Open Hearts For Orphans believes that children belong in loving families and to-date has issued over seventy adoption grants to U.S. families adopting children with special needs from fifteen different countries. In addition, Open Hearts for Orphans recently launched a pro-life ministry -- ARISE -- to promote adoption in Catholic communities through education, advocacy, and fellowship in the greater Palm Beach area.

Lisa's extraordinarily personal story of love, loss, and unexpected blessings -- born through her life-affirming experiences in Open Hearts for Orphans, her pro-life ministry ARISE, and her own FIVE ADOPTIONS -- is not to be missed!

Doors open at 11:30 am for registration and social networking, guests are asked to be seated by 11:55 am in order to confirm/finalize menu selections, the meeting program starts at 12 noon and ends promptly 1:30 pm. Social distancing and facial covering/masks are required as per Palm Beach County COVID-19 meeting guidelines.

This is a networking event so bring your business cards, your organization's literature, pens and notepads -- and of course, your appetite -- you're going to need them all!
